Requiem Fan Radio Drama: Part II

*Note: For a better experience, download the script and read it while listening. You'll find it on Rogull's D&D site, dungeonsanddragonscartoon dot blogspot dot com

It was time to update the drama with better acting, sound and music quality, and effects. Two years later,  I finally got around to producing part two!

I had the task of voicing all of the characters. I did the best I could with Diana and Sheila, given the fact I'm not a girl.

Though it's been only two years, I thank Norma Camby for her blessing in this endeavor. Norma is the president of Dulcima Records and the daughter of the late and great composer Johnny Douglas.

Thanks go out to Michael Reaves. Except for additional lines placed in an effort to heighten the drama, I've followed the script tightly.

The next step: animating the whole thing! Will take a year or more.

It was time to update the drama with better acting, sound and music quality, and effects. This is it. The second half is in production with more music on the way.

I had the task of voicing all of the characters- 'Diana' is progress and the search is still out for Sheila!

Handdrawn Requiem Title Card v 1.1

This is the second draft of the first title card I drew by hand. Drew the background but edited the Requiem lettering from other episode title cards. Put in the smoke f/x the hard way: drawing a 12 frame sequence with an Intuos tablet, used PS CS3 to blur, then animated three copies of each- frame by frame, with a 4 frame delay for each.

Will fix a few other things- including added detail and depth- in a future revision.

What do you say? For the final product, should I use the handdrawn letters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gT6cZddnCpI, or the title card letters you see here?

Reference: any D&D:tAS title card...just pick one!
Music: Johnny Douglas
Tools:
Color: Photoshop CS3
Bottom text: PS CS3.
Smoke f/x graphics: Wacom Intuos 4 Tablet

*update*: Final film finish date to August 2012. That's very tentative.
D&D:tAS is the property of Disney. ...(cries)...I know... (sniff)

Bring back Dungeons & Dragons: The Animated Series!

Dear D&D:TAS fans:

This humble project began in June '09, unaware of what would happen. Thanks for all of your support! Did you know 8 premises were never written? See them at Rogull's site: http://dungeonsanddragonscartoon.blogspot.com I'm writing to Disney Studios to ask for the rights to produce them. A trusted source advised me on this, & a petition has come up. So if you support this, 'sign' a comment on this channel w/ your YouTube user name, info (age, city, country), & why you want D&D:TAS back! I'll include them all with the letter. Thanks!

*Update 7/3/11: I mailed off the letter to Disney on Wednesday; should hear from them by early September.
*Update 10/25/11: Haven't heard back yet.
*Update 12/28/11: ....
